The Radix Project is a specialized nonprofit dedicated to interrupting the cycle of youth incarceration — providing comprehensive, trauma-informed care and restorative justice practices for justice-involved youth and those identified as at-risk.
OUR NAME
Radix — Latin for root.
The source. The foundation. The place where growth begins. Our name reflects our belief that meaningful change starts at the root: in the systems we build, the communities we empower, and the ideas we choose to nurture.
But roots do more than sustain — they also reveal. They surface the underlying conditions that must be understood before progress can take hold. At The Radix Project, we look beneath the surface to identify the true origins of the challenges our youth face. By addressing root causes rather than symptoms, we ensure that the change we create isn't just visible — it's lasting.
